It's Heeeere!

 purchased by me

October!  Finally!  The blog's gotten a bit of a makeover and it's time to break out everything creepy, spooky, and ghoulish.  You'll be seeing some of this years new Halloween polishes as well as some from my collection, plus a bit of nail art here and there.

I'm kicking things off with a stamping image I just HAD TO have!

I bought Born Pretty Store's BP-39 just for this image.  It's too cute to resist, plus it was a dollar on ebay.  It worked well, aside from the mouth detail on the white skulls.  Might work better with another polish, but Cult Nails Nevermore is still the best stamping black I've got.  It smeared a tiny bit, but I was still pretty satisfied with how it turned out.  Then I went to leadlight it...

I used Dance Legend Dali and Levitan.  In person it looked pretty good, if a little bit "Hot Topic", but in photos you can see where Dali went outside the lines a little.  Dammit.

I'll be trying this image again sometime, for sure.  I love it...even if the white skulls are mouthless.
