It's a Generic Holiday Season miracle! It feels like I should explain my absence...but we'll get to that next time. For now, let's just marvel at how long my nails have gotten since my last post.
The shape is different too. My coffins started off as a Halloween thing. (Actually, they started with a break.) Like the bats in my front windows, they've stuck around. If Halloween Retention Syndrome is a thing, I have it. It kills me that I missed blogging for Halloween...and fall...and the holiday run-up...blogging in general. Enough of that for now though. Back to the nails.
I wanted something festive, yet work-safe, because (ugh) I worked on xmas eve and xmas this year. You've seen these undies before, but everything else is new. The base is Sally Hansen Sheer Force, and it's one of my favorite sheers for layering. Most of my nails got a thin coat of Defy & Inspire Turtle Doves. It's the first I've worn from them and I don't have any complaints about it. If you're going out clearance shopping today, that holiday collection was already marked down when I was at Target on xmas eve. Before I go into detail on the accent, let's admire that microglitter sparkle again.
Lovely, isn't it? There are hints of blue and purple in there too, but they're very faint.
The stamping and dotting turned out better on my right hand. That happens weirdly often, considering it's my dominant hand. I dented it before I could get any daytime photos. That happens pretty often too.
I used Born Pretty Store's Celebration BPX-L008 plate and SinfulShine Diamond In The Raw to stamp the hodgepodge of snowflakes, stars, and dots. A splash of red and green comes from dotting with SinfulShine Final Touch and Sinful Colors Holly At Me. Sinful Colors absolutely killed it this holiday season with Un-Bow-Lievable and Santa Bae. I bought almost everything new from both collections.
Hope your holiday celebrations are/were full of fun, family, and polish! I'll see you in the new year...maybe even sooner.
